The Game

An unlikely group of misfits become friends through their weekly tabletop roleplaying game nights.

Since he was 15, Brandon has been obsessed with all things tabletop fantasy. That is, until his girlfriend cheated on him with his brother, and left him a fragile shell of a man.

To numb the pain, Brandon puts out a Craigslist ad for an ordinary group of role-playing nerds. Instead, he stumbles upon five questionably-stable misfits.

The adventurers must work as a team to battle dragons, exorcise poltergeists, and seduce executioners. In turn, each gamer must find the strength to confront not only the villains in the fantasy world, but also in their real lives.
